Generating Reports from Templates

We showed you how to create your own custom templates in Section 4.2. Now it is time to create a report using that custom template. Figure 4.8 shows the menu item used to create a custom report.

When you click the Create Using Template menu item, you will get the Open file dialog box as shown in Figure 4.9.

From the Open file dialog box, select the template that you want the Scheduler to use to create the report. The Scheduler will then create a report based on the selected template. The report will look like the template, except for the fields will now be replaced by worker names. Figure 4.10 shows our report based on the ‘Custom1’ template that we created in section 4.2.
